Welcome to my blog! I am a born-again walker and this is a journal of my wonderful walks. I'm planning on many more.

WINTER WALKING ON THE CAMINO
14th October 2009 - Due to a corruption of some of the script, this post has been moved to:
That is a really outstanding set of information on winter pilgrimage. I've never seen anything even close to it. The question comes up quite a bit at our talks, and now I can just direct people to your entry. (I now link to it on our camino2p2 page).
I'm on my other computer today with a better screen and can finally see the comment section at the end of your posts. Whew. I sent Hans the link to your blog in case he gets an opportunity to read it. The weather continues to be miserable but, he's in Ourense and there are thermal baths where he is right now enjoying a nice, hot soak. I signed your CFJ guestbook too.
Hi Amawalker: I'm the dad of Justin who is currently walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain with Aleza, who you have been following on their blog. I just want to personally thank you for all of the wonderful support and terrific advice that you have given to them. I know that they have very much appreciated your kind encouragement and your contact via their blog. It has also been a great comfort to me and my wife, Jan, that someone with your wisdom and experience have been keeping an eye on them as they trek along through the rain and snow (and also the beautiful weather) of Northern Spain in the winter. Anyhow, thanks so much for your help and support. Sincerely, Dan and Jan Sitarz www.justinandalezainthailand.blogspot.com
Thank you for all the great information in your blog. i didn't realize that the weather might get this bad even in April in Spain. I obviously still have a lot of research to do before I set out on my journey. Again, thanx for the great blog!
